6.5 Rem Mag reloading

Have my 673 set up.

It came with a bunch of reloads. The first batch I shot were 120 Sierra Pro Hunter over IMR-4350. Shot very well. See target below (100 yd)

Next I reloaded some Hornady 129 gr SP Interlock with IMR-4350. These shot well tonight at the 200 yd range.

I had also loaded some 125 Partitions on top of Ramshot Hunter. These had more of a spread. I think I am going to try the partitions again but with IMR-4350.

Nice rifles. I have the matching 350 RM. Both are set up with Talley rings and Leupold 2.5-8 scopes. I need to get back into Remington trigger, as I have been shooting Tikkas and Savage mostly for the past several years.

I need to learn more about the Hornady 129 Interlock. I understand a cup and core bullet. Some people seem to really like, but not at magnum velocity? Seems to shoot well and looks like a great range load and potentially deer down sized load? The 125 PT is still my goal bullet for hunting.

Cheers

Use a PT or AB. They perform reliably time after time and you will never have to worry about pushing them too fast. If you need some plinkers just grab some BT that's what I do.

Looking good!
Nice looking rifle buddy.

That group will prove very comforting when you take the rifle afield. Good show. I've really come to love my 350 RM chambered in a 673.
