Anybody got anything good to say about this round, and do you have any reload info? I just ordered a pistol barrel for my Encore and it should be here in about 2 months....

Yes, the 6,5-284 i excellent !!

53,5 grains Hodgdon H1000 and a 140 grains Nosler Partion gives me a V3 of 2780 fps and ½" groups at 100 m in my Sako with a 26 " Schultz & Larsen barrel.

awesome round...117 gr spbt and about 52 grs of IMR4350...smokin out of my 25" barreled mauser. drops mule deer like lightning.
