Im going to back up a lil, Quick load info is for the 6.5x284Norma which is long throated, there is a lil dif. in capacity between the Win and the Norma. The rifle was built with hunting in mind using a short action thats why we decided to make it th Win version.

Seems its going to be a shooter, the barrel its on the firsts rounds.
About a year ago we build a .280AI as yours in a Weatherby Action,
Weatherby stock bedded and a normal Douglas Premium barrel, for sure its a shooter as the 6.5x284. That .280AI is extremly accurate, seems your 280AI is on the same breed JD.
im going to try also the Nosler 130AB and RL22, will see how it performs.
Ive been a Nosler fan for long ago, never used those Barnes but they shoot also very good in the rifle.
