I am trying to work up an accurate load for the 6mm ARC in a gas gun, 18 inch barrel. I have been using lever, I have gone from 29.5 to 31 grains my smallest groups were at 30.5 and 31 about 1.75 inches. I have been working the seating depth in and out and not getting any better. Anyone have any data out there for the 90 grain ballistic tip or AccuBond that is shooting well. I have Varget and lever. thanks in advance any info would be helpful. Yes I have the horned book. If you need a great load for 75 grain, 31 grains of lever

Bbl twist?

Moreover what was your starting depth? Sometimes we get ahead of ourselves and start seating what we "think" will be good versus keeping it simple ahd starting at the listed COAL for that recipe in published data.

We've all been there.

Two questions though.
Twist and your start depth?

I'm working on a similar setup — 6mm ARC with an 18" barrel in a gas gun — and also using Lever. I’ve found that 30.8 grains with the 90gr Ballistic Tip gave me the most consistent groups so far (around 1.25 MOA), seated just a touch off the lands.

A friend is using a bolt gun and Varget with the 105 hpbt. It’s definitely not a speed demon but he had 6 shots under 3” at 600yds the last time he took it for a drive.

He’s getting 2600 from an 18” bolt with the 105 and 25.7grs of Varget.

If you have any available I’d look at it and work up a load.
