7mm-08 140 gr Accubond

Went out to the range yesterday after work and put 5 rounds through my 7mm-08 with 140 gr Accubonds loaded with 44 gr of IMR-4350 with a CCI LR primer and was really surprised with the results.

Nice! I think that bullet just seems to work well with the 7mm-08. I have two and both rifles will shoot it exceptionally well.

Do you know how far you re jumping the bullet? What OAL you loading to?

I'm not sure how far the bullet jump is? The OAL is 2.780, these are the first handloads I've run through a new Savage Model 16 Weather Warrior I'm about 75% of the way through breakin' in the barrel on. I'm gonna up the charge a 1/2 grain and see what happens next time I get out.

Thx for 2.780 OAL.... That will fit most all short action s out there!

Every rifle has its own preference ( bullets do too) of how much jump they like so that's a "try it " load development issue!
