jiggs,

Depends on what you are hunting.
The 160 gr AB is an accurate all around bullet.

I always felt that the 160 gr is by far the best all arounder. My 7mm rem mag likes the 150 Nosler Partition though. Still have not worked with the 160 AB so far.

Pop the 160 gr AB shoots real good out of my M700 Remington adl under .50 @ 100 yards you should try them.

I'm a big fan of the 7mm Rem mag and prefer bullets in the 160 - 175 grain weight range.

That 175 Partition, launched at about 2900 fps is one heck of a penetrating son of a gun! Does a fine job on elk. I think the 160 is probably a better all-around bullet weight though.

Reloader 22 and H4831 have both done very well for me, in several different 7mm mag rifles.

YUP a classic combo

Just ordered some 160 gr. pt this past week from Shooter's Pro Shop along with some Nosler brass. I'll load them with IMR4350 powder to acheive a little more than 2900FPS. Even though I've loaded some 140&150 ballistic tips for my 7MM Mag ,I'm going to use the 160 gr. pt . on whitetail in the brush country that me and my sons hunt here in this state. The 160 should do well in your 7Mag.
