I am now thinking of using this bullet as my all around bullet for both deer and elk, would the Barnes TTSX 150 grn work as a good bullet for both deer and elk out of my 7mm WSM? or should i load two different loads like say 160 grn AB for elk and 140 grn AB for deer? Thanks

Load 160 grain ABs for both elk and deer in your 7mm WSM. I'm telling you, it'll work.

When I was loading for a 7mmRemMag, the 160gr AccuBond was the bullet of choice for a single, do-anything-I'd-do-with-a-7MAG bullet. Unfortunately, the RemMag I was working with was a late model Rem700 and it was lacking in quality and accuracy. I managed to get a couple of non-repeatable 1-1.5" groups, but consistency was squat and velocity was ridiculously low (think 7mm-08 levels). I took a number of measurements on the fired brass and came to the conclusion that the chamber was not concentric, and further it was cut with too long a shoulder length compared to SAAMI specs. So, for the first time in 20yrs, a gun I owned went on down the road. I don't buy guns to trade or sell, usually, but that one was a major disappointment. Based on that, and the quality, or lack thereof, I've seen in a number of other Remingtons over the past few years, I'm swearing off 700's for a while.

My bad experience notwithstanding, I'd go with the 160gr AccuBond at 2900-3000fps from your WSM and never look back.
