Does this statement make Lincoln a terrorist? (As far as the current government is concerned?)

I wish politicians still felt and spoke that way....

But now everything is about money...you never hear anyone defending Freedom any more...only money.

Back then we fought wars to gain Freedom....now we're not far from fighting a war to restore it.

Lincoln's statement didn't make him a terrorist any more than mine makes me one....

It comes down to one very simple question....which is more important, Freedom or safety?

It's a fact that you cannot have one without giving up the other....

Excellent post, Paul. There was a day when statesmen guided the republic. Today, politicians plunder the nation and few know that it once was a republic.
