Aging eyes and hunting scopes...

I was seriously near sighted for years, used contacts of all kinds, and could always shoot pretty well. Then I started getting cataracts, and went to an ophthalmologist. Ended up getting the cataracts removed and intra-ocular lenses implanted. Man, what a difference! My first thought, and I think it is still valid, was why isn't this an option for people with serious vision problems, regardless of cataracts. I wasn't a lasik candidate, had some corneal issues as well as astigmatism. I would ask any of the eye professionals right up front if cataracts were even in the beginning stages. My 2 cents, guys.

And LOTS OF FOLKS don't know that the eyepiece can be rotated to clear up the view of the cross-wires!!
