Back from Utah

I’m back from Utah. The elk hunt was an event I’m certain I’ll remember for the rest of my life, and I have some unfinished matters I hopefully have 30 or 40 years to address. I’m not anticipating getting to go bull elk hunting again anytime soon with an outfitter, but I’m certain it won’t be my last bull elk hunt.

Aspens. The elk were commonly in the aspens.

Beautiful ranch, Joel. Looks similar to what we would see in many areas around here. Lots of aspen and elk hanging out in the trees.

What happened with the outfitter, Joel?

The outfitter, KR Hunting, was fantastic. I could not have asked for better. I would like to hunt with them every year, but it's not an inexpensive trip. I saved up for 4 years for this trip!

I say post away Joel and Congratulations as looks like it was a great hunt and you can for sure be proud of that Bull as I would have capped it as well ! Nice shooting with a beautiful rifle!
