When Nosler brought out the 225 grain 35 cal Ballistic Tip I thought that had to the cat's drawers in 35 Whelen bullets. Now for some strange reason I compared the 35 cal 225 grain Ballistic Tip to the 225 grain Partition and found they are virtually identical in Ballistic Coeficient.
How can this be when the Ballistic Tip is a longer, sleeker boattail design that should slip through the air more easily than the Partition? Somebody help a confused old reloader please.
