I am thinking of tring a bullet from 60-64grs in my 223rem and its for yotes.
These are the ones that should work in my 1:12 twist barrel. Hornady 60gr SP & HP Sierra 60 HPV and the Berger 60/62/64gr HPV.

I am leaning towards the Berger 62gr HPV just because their 52gr HPV works very well with Benchmark in my rifle.

The 52gr HPV and A-max have worked great in the accuracy department and I still have to load up some 52gr CC's I bought awhile back. 24.9grs of benchmark, BR4, and Lapua brass has been a great combination so far.

Thanks I will check my Sierra loading manual to see what type the 63gr is SP/HP. Just wanted to make sure the bullet would not be to hard and work on yotes. One good thing with the 1:12 twist is you have to stay with conventional thus cheaper bullets in the 60gr range.

Finding a cheaper bullet that performs well is a plus. May be a Varmageden in 60-62gr HP or SP in .224.

I have had good luck with the 60 grain v max, Partition and sierra hp in a 1-12 twist ruger. All were fired using win primers and 25.5 or 26 grains of H4895.

Wyoming evidently passed legislation making this a legal round/bullet for deer and antelope this year. I haven't read the hunting reg update, but I heard someone mention it in passing.

Yep, it's true. From the Wyo G&F website "For deer, antelope, mountain lion, and gray wolf, the major change is the addition of .22 centerfire cartridges as legal ammunition. For the taking of deer, antelope, mountain lions, and gray wolves in areas where they are designated as trophy game, hunters can use any centerfire firearm of at least .22 caliber, using a cartridge at least two inches long and firing a bullet of at least 60 grains."

Both the 60 gr PT and the 64 gr BSB will both stabilize in a 1:12 twist and would be excellent on Coyotes.
Another one that should stabilize for you would be the 60 gr BT.
