Now understand, I am not a guy who gets hung up on the latest fancy gear, but I am so impressed with this light I thought I'd share. Im sure there are better fancier ones out there but this is impressive.
Go to your local Menards and check out the "Guidesman" brand LED "Tactical alumimium flaslight set". 2 Flashlights about 4 in long. I think its about an inch in diameter (although I havent tried it in a ring) They use 3 tripple A's each, have tail cap switch, and lanyard. An advertised 5 hour run time on "low" which is 40 lumens. Also has a strobe function which I have no use for - but OK. High is 170 Lumens and its seriously BRIGHT. The beam is not focusable but it casts an unbelievable beam for at least a block. Any coon up a tree or 'yote inside 50 yds is "lit up"
Package advertises a CREE XPG R4 technology bulb. I dont know what that means but this sucker is BRIGHT. For 19.99 for the pair its hard to go wrong. Only thing wrong is that the things are made in CHINA  . CL
