Outta what cartridge or speed range?

Isn't that the match style/ The X is the hunting style no?

im gonna try them in my 280AI when the build is done.

Jake will post his results soon but after testing the 200 ELD X outta his 300 Wby I wouldn't touch them for a big game hunting round that'll push them over 3000 muzzle velocity unless you were only planning on shooting long.

Yes its the match bullet. So was the a-max bullet that a ton of guys were using to kill big game with. That's why im asking if someone would test it.

If you have some ill run them into the jugs from my MSM. I have a feeling that the pictures would be copper and lead dust though

Wasn't much left of them launched at 3000FPS

ill send you a few if you want. What is the msm?

Mashburn Super Magnum.

The post above was 3 different bullets. Betting they will slick out further but I have my doubts they'd have made it through an elks scapula.

300 WBY, 3000FPS.. Water jugs.

Muzz,

Outta a 300 Bee approx 3000 fps jugs at 15 yards going to retry at 2700. It's like a grenade stuff goes everywhere. The lock they put in isn't large enough to keep the core in the jacket. In the pictures from Hornady you can see core jacket separation starting to occur at 2660. Your better off using a BT in my opinion. Looks better at 3200 than this did at 3000. At least on the BT the jacket is thick enough it doesn't fragment.

Did 3 tests first one appeared to slip out of jug 4 recovered 12.7 gr of 200.

2nd was the recovered jacket 55.9 gr approx 28% retention found one piece of jacket that broke off that was with the jacket. 3rd jug

3rd was 29.8 gr and found in third jug. No exit have no idea where the rest of the jacket went. It was just gone.

Last week I put a 165BT in jugs at about 3100 and had much better results.
