Burris Ballistic Plex

I have a Burris 4 x 16 x 44 Signature Scope with the Ballistic Plex feature. Never actually used the Ballistic Plex portion before, but want to this year.

The procedure to set it up, as I understand, is to set the scope on the highest power and shoot it sight it in for a 200 yard zero at a 100 yard target for Magnum rifles. Mine is the Rem. 300 Ultra Mag. using the 180 grain bullet.

Is my understanding of the procedure correct? Can anyone share their experiences using the ballistic plex?

Thanks,
Don

That is correct. Be sure to shoot it at the extended ranges to make sure the marks are in line with what you rifle is really doing.

I bet you are shooting a bit flatter than what the scope is set up for.

Thanks for the reply,
I called Burris and got some good insight to set up the Ballistic Plex.

I had one on my rum
When zeroed 2" high at 100y , first stadia was 330
2nd was 450, and 3rd 570y
Never tried the last one as my range won't go that far
They work great except in low light where you lose the tiny lines.

Good shooting
