I went to resize once fired brass for my 338 ultra and my case got stuck in the die. I put plenty of lube on it and it still got stuck. I have a back up die so I set it up and this time lubed the hell out of a case and this one got stuck too. I have never had this problem before. What could be causing this?

What kind of dies and case lube are you using?
Are you using the correct size shell holder?
I use RCBS for my 338 RUM and have had no problems.

If your using an RCBS die ya might check to see if the very tiny hole that allows air to excape when the case is brought up into the die is plugged. If it's plugged I suspect that might be your problem, it can cause a vacuum to be formed. If it is plugged just use a very fine piece of wire to get it opened up or ya might spray it with a solvent to free things up. Too much lube can cause the hole to get plugged as well as dent cases. Ya could pull the expander ball, if possible and spray a cleaner solvent in that way is well.
