I am new to reloading and purchased the rcbs rock chucker kit. It does not come with a case trimmer so I would like someones input on which one i should get. I am new at this and dont need the best just a decent trimmer for the 7mm rum.. Thanks for any comments!

Another thing it does not come with that you will need is a case lenth gage. Midway has one on sale for about $20.00.

The problem with the Lee is that you can't adjust it. and with just about all bress today coming a lot shorter than the trim to lenght the Lee doesn't cut anything. I also had to clean up the threads before I could use it.

I have a Forster, it is not cheap but you get what you pay for. It is precisely adjustable and pretty fast.

You have started with RCBS and I would say go with their trimmer also. I have the Lyman trimmer, but if I was doing it over again I would go with the RCBS.

THE FORESTER IS OF HIGH QUALITY AND DURABLE.
I HAVE BEEN USING MINE SINCE 1970 AND I SHOOT A LOT.
GOOD VALUE THE PRODUCT LASTS!!

I would opt for the Foster trimmer also. They too have a power adapter for a drill or cordless screwdriver.

Thanks for the comments.I will look at the forester, I am sure i will be reloading for a while so i may as well get a good one..Thanks!!

I have the Redding and it works goos but it is alot like the RCBS.....which I would prefer but this one was given to me so I will not complain too much!
