Change in POI questions

Is it possible that a screw on muzzle brake could affect POI if gun is dialed in with it off then shot later with it on?

Also is it possible if a gun was dialed in with re-sized brass could the POI change using new virgin brass?

Thanks,
Don

Yes, though not necessarily the case, it is possible.

Not probable, though anything is possible.

When you say POI I'm guessing that the gun will still shoot a group but only located in a different place on the target. If that being the case as for a brake being on or off causing a POI shift, I have never seen as such with any of the rifles I've owned that had removable brakes. I guess it could happen though.

Re-sized vs virgin brass POI shift? Boy I really don't know for sure but once again it's not something I have seen.

Not really much help am I?

Quite possibile, as there's a better than good chance of the brake changing recoil management of the shooter, harmonics, muzzle pressure, ect.

A lot depends on the individual firearms chamber dimensions in relationship to your dies and resized fired brass, against new bass dimensions.
Then too how many times the fired hass been resized without annealing, and or what type of annealing job was done at factory to begin with on the new.
But I would agree, normally it would be minimal for the most part.
Then again, each gun has a law un to it's own.
Just my opinions of the questions

Thanks,

agree with the muzzle break causing a poi shift when on or off, i have had poi shift seating the bullet to different coal.
