Just a heads up....I just posted the results for a 110AB and a Sierra 120hpbt at 40yds.

One great, one not so great.

DD,
Awesome test....

I would like to see you shoot the AccuBond in the same test but at a similar speed as the Sierra.

Not saying the results wouldn't be the same but as I'm sure you know 250 fps can make a difference.

If you can, just reverse the test. Would love to see the Sierra at the slower speed.

More than likely the same things will happen but....250 fps could mean staying in tact or not.

I am sure that the Sierra would fare much better at 2800.....but I picked it because I have read that it was developed for the 257 wby mag.....this may not be true, but it is supposed to be a tough pill.

3050 is actually quite slow compared to how a wby mag could sling it.

I am going to try the 110ab in my 25/06AI since I am not pleased with the 120hpbt. After I get a load worked up, I will test the AB.

Thanks for the heads up. The .257 110 gr AB is a tough bullet and it should do well in your 25-06 AI.
A buddy of mine is shooting this bullet in his 25-06 AI but I do not recall the load he was using. I will try to get that for you.

Last week, anither friend shot a 110 gr AB into dry phone books at 25 yds with his 257 Wby at 3500 fps and the recovered bullet was impressive. It held together and weighed around 58 grs. The lead melded all around the jacket making it look silver. Pretty cool. 8)
