The rifle is a Tang Safety Ruger M77 in 338win using 225gr Swift A-Frames and 71gr of IMR4350 and a Fed215 primer loaded 3.296" OAL for 2834FPS and SD9. The rifle has had the action and bit forward glass bedded using Ruger low rings and a 2X10 Leupold VRX scope with a duplex reticle and a lighted dot. It shoots clover leaf groups at 100yards and my longest shot was 287yards on a Kudu bull. It has taken quite a few animals in the USA and Africa. This is the recovered bullet after breaking a shoulder traveling thru the chest cavity and breaking the last rib on the far side. It was an almost facing me shot.Nice one. Congrats. Like to hear about the rifle and load. Dan.
