First 270 hand loads

The Savage 111 270 got the chance to break in the new shooting bench. First hand loads through this one.
I had one failure to fire, the primer didn't have any pin dent at all.
Fired on the second try. Not sure what the cause was.
If the 57 grain load shoots this well then I think I have found my 130 grain Ballistic Tip load.

Not too bad. H4831 and about any 270 bullet are pretty danged hard to beat.

Most cases will let you creep up to the 60-62 grain mark with a 130, should put you around the 3000-3100 mark if you were so I lined.

Sounds like a great shooter!
 
That looks as if things will be working very well, indeed. Good show.
