Hey, Scotty...

...the LGS in town has a Browning 1885 in .325 WSM, w/ a Pentax 4X12 Gamekeeper on it. It's a consignment, & they're asking a little much. Negotiations are ongoing, & I'll probably switch out some scopes & sell my Mod. 70 if it works out, but damn, those 1885's are purty rifles, especially the Brownings...

For sure Gene. I really like that combo and the lines on the 1885 are pretty pleasing to me. I might have to keep my eyes open for one.. Well, another one other than yours!

...oh that one on gunbroker is free & clear good to go. W/ a little organization & practice you can shoot a falling block as fast as a bolt. Nice wood, 28" barrel, right nice scope...

I know buddy, I know. Those are all the reason's I like it, unfortunately, I am scrimping to make sure I can elk hunt this Fall! Once I square away the hunting, then maybe, I will find one of them 325 Shorties!

The High Wall can be nice--it is a handsome rifle; but chambered in a WSM, it just doesn't do much for me.

Yes, I could be content with either of those rifle, Jake. I have a Featherweight .280, and it shoots very well, indeed. Before this current rifle, I had one that was push feed, and it shot just as well, or perhaps even a little better.
