...on a pretty regular basis. The manager's a good friend & you never really know what odds & ends you might find. They get a lot of small run items that aren't listed on-line, but this is a catalog item, & I found it pretty interesting...

...I know, "Made in China", etc.etc., but "Lone Wolf" is a subsidiary of "Benchmade", & these saws are pretty well done. The nylon grip is heavily textured & comfortable, the blade is fairly stout. This is a lot bigger, beefier version of most of the t-handled saws out there. Tried it out on a frozen elk bone, worked very well. I really like my WY saw, but this is about a third the cost, & quite a bit handier for quick for quick jobs like splitting the pelvis or sternum. I've quartered quite a few elk w/ the old Knapp saws, & I'm sure this saw would be up to the task...
