has any of it actually been produced?

how much longer?

Midway has had it listed as coming soon for several months and my questions aren't being answered by them

Any other retailers plan on stocking it other than Midway and Lock Stock & Barrel?

You aren't the only one. It was supposed to be out months ago. I just had to waste some more money buying some more Rem brass to get me by.

I know what you mean about wasting money i've been using the Federal
and managed to get about 190 usable out of 250 the rest was dented so bad it looked like it had been piled on the floor and walked on

count me in on this too. I just picked up another 100 peices of Remington brass. The primer pockets wern't even tight on the first loading. There needs to be somone else producing it!

Oh that rem crap aint that bad, is it? I bought a 100 when I bought my gun and it pretty much lasted the life of my barrel. I shot them 8 or 9 times, cant remember, but I got my use out of them. I "borrowed" 50 new ones from my dads pile that he never uses. I never have weighed or sorted cases so I guess it doesn't bother me what brass I use. My 300 RUM has shot some prettty good groups with unsorted rem brass, so I dont really mind remington brass. That damn lapua and norma is about ridiculously over priced if you ask me. I wish Nosler would get on the ball and start distributing the stuff already.

I just bought another bag of Remington brass (338 RUM) sure would be nice if Nosler would offer both 300 RUM and 338 RUM brass.

Ditto That.....Second That.......I agree with That........when?
I havn't had bad luck with the Rem brass, but yes.......primer pockets need to be inspected first.
Have I asked when yet?

You're quite right about the remington brass, however I find it "softer" than just about any brand out there. I shot mine for about 8-9 firings as well, however I found that primer pockets went around 3-4 and I wasn't pushing that hot of a load. I find it gets ejector marks easily as well, again when not pushing hot loads. Chrony says 3050 with a 180 grain and I get ejector marks?!?!?! I don't think that should happen, primers aren't flowing either, so I don't know what to make of it.

I did shoot 4 federal cases that I was more impressed with, however I'm sure if Nosler came out with some they would be just as good as something Norma or Lapua would produce, and hopefully cheaper. A 21 year old with a house and a wife can't afford their crazy high prices!

Get it while you can
i just got an email from Midway regarding the .300 brass and was able to get 100 pieces

probably won't last long

I got 250 pieces of primed Federal Premium brass when it was available from D&L Sports. D&L had contracted for 50,000 pieces. The brass is very consistent and the shoulders headspace in my chamber within .001" - unbelievable.

Shoots under .5moa @ 200yds with preferred loads in a pillar bedded Rem LSS with the factory tube free-floated.

Unfortunately, Federal 300RUM brass doesn't seem to be available any more. Like you guys, I have been waiting for Nosler to release their 300 RUM brass. I have high expectations so I hope this brass lives up to the Nosler reputation.

Well, Glory Be! 200 chunks of Nosler 300 RUM brass just shipped out of Midway to my humble abode...finally!

Nosler,

Any decisions made yet on 338 RUM brass?

Jon:

How do you like them?

Has anyone else used Nosler brass? If so what do you think? It does not look like there will be 300RUM brass from Nosler for 20007.

Nosler3,

What exactly do you mean?

I really like the 280 AI brass. When are we going to get 338 RUM brass???

No it is not. I first bought 100 of them in 2000. Squared primer pockets, neck turned, reamed the inside for VLD bullets and weighed them which left me with 50 "perfect" pieces of brass. Well these 50 brass have lasted me 6 years, about 10 different 300 rums! Additionally these in the right rifle have managed groups of less than 1" at 300 yards (not 100 or 200) and many times 1/4" groups at 100.
I do not see how brass can really get better than that....unless all 100 weigh within a grain of each other.

Well POP you do a lot more then me and I was still getting 1" groups at 300 yards with the 210g VLD bullets and Rem brass. I dont square primer pockets, I do debur the flash holes though, I dont neck turn, I do chamfer after every firing, and I have never weight sorted any cases at any time in my reloading shooting career. Never really cared to I guess. From the sounds of it, Nosler isn't selling to much of the 300 RUM brass. Hence the comment from them above about not having it in 2007.
