Trying to get some help for a good starting point for some bulk midsouth shooter 75 grain black tip projectiles.
Ar rifle
5.56 1/7 twist barrel

Powders
CFE 223,benchmark, n140, h335
Primers
CCI 400 and 450
Brass
Starline and Lake City
If anybody has a min to set me in the right direction that would be great. I've been searching and found some 75 grain bullets but nothing with a connelure plus I'm not sure length of projectile I'm looking at. 1.042 is the length of these black tips. I load my 77 grain to 2.26 which is right at the max for my mag.
Oh and I'm loving the expanded reloading room

As long as you can get a crimp on the bullet with a OAL of 2.26” with a FCD you should be ok. Use the manufacturer load data for cfe223 and you should be fine. Just make sure you can get that crimp though. Wouldnt matter if it wasn’t an AR.
