Load for 357 mag.

Long,

What bullet weight are you looking at?

The 158 gr bullet would be a good weight and H110 is an excellent powder for the 357 Mag.

A stout amount of WW296!!!!!!!!! (H110 is the same stuff)

mag primer, and a 125 or 158 bullet.

I never considered loading for a pistol (other than my Contender). But with this 686 I thought maybe I would consider it. I don't think I would hunt with it, but may take it out during rifle season on the side. I suppose a 158 gn bullet would do.

Hey JD, have you ever been to Gary's guns in Muskegon? Great prices on guns and ammo. Best I've seen anywhere.

I like Blue dot and 125 JHP. Also AA2400 and 4227 works well.

Be careful with Blue Dot. Read on another sight that the makers issued a warning with blue dot and 125 grain bullets in the 357 and warned about it in 41 mag I believe.

Long,

No, I have not been there. I will check it out. Thanks for the tip.

Give me a shout next time you are heading south of the bridge.
