I try to shoot every Memorial Day as a way to remember how good I have it here in the US. I was able to test some new 6.5 Grendel loads today.

123 Amax/XBR 8208/Fire formed 7.62 brass

24.5gr=.221" (best ever)
24.8=.921"
25.1=.925"
25.4=.329"
25.7=1.255"
26=.386"

I am going to make up some more 24.5, 25.4, and 26 grain rounds to try.

22-250
55gr Varmageddon BT/XBR 8208/WW Brass

34.4=.936
34.7=.997
35.0=.546
35.3=.630
35.6=1.012

I am going to play with the 35.0/35.3 to see if I can do it again.

Cool. Neat little cartridge!

Was sort of considering a range trip - but am too doggone worn out right now. Just sipping some coffee, dinkin' around on the computer and contemplating cleaning up my reloading bench.

I think I'll contemplate that some more.

It's not Memorial Day in Canada (Victoria Day last week), but my wife and I are treating it as though it were a day to remember our family members who gave up their comfort for our freedom. We have our flags out on the house. However, if I can get myself moving, I may work up some loads to shoot this week.

That's some fine shooting, the IMR 8208 XBR is definitely working for you. Both of those guns must be a pleasure to shoot with that kind of accuracy and mild recoil.

The 6.5 Grendel is an AR that I put together. I hope to upgrade the scope someday but as ove now it works. These were the first "real" loads I have ever shot out of it. Up until today, it was all fire form loads. It is fun to shoot along with the 22-250.

Looks like your there or darn near! You could load some up at different COAL and see if it tightens or loosens your groups too. You definately are at two accuracy nodes in the 6.5.

Awesome shooting! That is the way to remember the fallen! Accurate loads downrange! Great shooting.
