I got the smaller version for Christmas. This thing seems built tough for sure. Lots of pockest of different sizes. Great zipper, and carry handles.

I have my shooting chrony, 25lb lead sled weight, two sets of ear muffs, hand warmers, Remington oil wipes, a few bore snakes, a bunch of tacks, targets. I still have room for my shooting bags, and any ammo I need to carry. I'm very excited to have one bag with all my stuff in it. Should keep the back seat of my truck cleaner, and protect some of my gear. The only thing that wouldn't fit in there was my tripod for my chrony. I can't imagine all the stuff a guy could put into the larger bag

I think they are on sale right now, and seem to me that they are worth every penny on sale or not.

Midway is marketing some quality items anymore. This sounds like another excellent item to add to one's range gear.

Jake I just purchased a Callahan firing pin assembly unit from Midway to replace the "J lock" locking bolt for Andy's 30-06. He's the friend of my son's who I took out elk hunting last year. Not long after our hunt his grandpa died and Andy ended up with Grandpa's Remington CDL in 30-06. It's a great gun looking gun and I think it will shoot very well once we get the trigger lightened up a bit. It doesn't do badly right now. We were shooting it this fall to get it sighted in so he could use it instead of my wife's rifle this year. Right off the bat we had issues with the J-lock. It popped out of the indent at the back of the bolt and I didn't have my spring compression tool to put it back into place. We got it but what a hassle.

I got off track a bit, but I just wanted to say we got GREAT service from Midway USA and that firing pin assembly was at my door step way faster than I would have imagined. I just installed it this evening and it seems to be perfect! That's great service in my opinion. Now we just have to take it out to shoot and make sure it works fine. I tested it with an Azoom snap cap, but we still need to actually fire some rounds. Thanks to MIDWAY USA for the great service.

Thanks Jake. Sounds like a must have product.
Can you post a link to the bag you recieved from Santa.

I have the large range bag and I feel like Santa whenever I load it up. It is very voluminous and has all sorts of pockets, sleeves and mag pouches. I have rarely gotten more for my money than that bag.

I have this bag....

I have it in the "Super Magnum" size. The hard, stiff plastic bottom is awesome for carring my front tripod rest, which is weighty. I can get the chrony and tripod, all my notebooks, hearing protection, rounds, and cleaning supplies all together in there.

Not what Cabela's had in mind for that bag, but it sure does a fantastic job of being a range bag!

My wife and kids got me that for Father's Day, and I can't believe I ever went to the range without it!

Who needs a range bag? Oh I forgot I'm spoiled!!! I throw everything on the tailgate of the truck back it up 75 yards. Wa la I'm on my own personal 425 yard rifle range!! Convience is a wonderful thing!!!
