Hey all I'm in the process of picking up a Model 70 Classic Featherweight in a 280 rem. The gentleman that currently has is picked it up used as well. It seems the original owner put a cheap Winchester blind magazine stock on it, the whereabouts of the featherweight stock and bottom metal remains a mystery. This featherweight 280 really needs the correct Winchester stock or even a Winlite stock. If someone has Winchester Model 70 stock that would do this gun some justice that they no longer need please let me know. I think the model 70 lightweights even had the same barrel contour. I could be wrong though. I don't have a ton of money so If i need to buy stuff slowly for this gun to become what it should be that'f fine too. The rifle really hasn't been shot much and the bluing is great or I probably wouldn't do it. I've kicked around a Boyds stock as well. thanks
