i will be going to montana this fall for mule deer and maybe pronghorn.this will be my first time out west.i will be using a 30/06.my question is should i use 150 or 165 grain ballistic tips? or would the partitions be better.thanks

tnyotehunter,

Your 30-06 with either the 150 gr BT or 165 gr BT would be a good choice.
Pick the one that shoots the best in your rifle. The PT's will work fine but it is more bullet than you need. You might also want to consider the 150 gr AB. It will shoot plenty flat and hit hard with great weight retenion.
