So the urge got to me this weekend, and I ended up buying a few new toys, one of which is here. Picked up a Remington SPS Varmint in .204 Ruger.

The patient:

With Mickey A3 Sporter, supposedly red/white/blue swirley, but looks more pink/blue:

Add in one Redfield 4-12 in Leupold DDs:

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to shoot it, as my annual kokanee fishing trip, and then a cold, took precedence. Trigger pull IS pretty sweet for a factory gun.

The .204 is a lot of fun. I like the McMillan stock. Your rifle is coming together real well. Keep us posted!

BK you scare the heck out of me sitting those beautiful rifles on the railing of your deck for photo mania! :shock: A gust of wind, an evil gremlin................... Nice looking guns.

Trust me, David, if there was even the slightest chance of them falling, they wouldn't be there. The flat bottom of the stock pretty much guarantees that they will not roll off. I was at my buddie's vacation rental house in LaPine, Oregon, and had to take advantage of the scenery.
