I just ordered a Browning Composite Stalker in a 300 WSM with the BOSS. I struck me that not only do I have to get some loads developed prior to hunting season but then I also have to tune a BOSS system (Which I have not Idea how the BOSS Works). I remeber a while back seeing quite a few reloaders with this gun and wondered if you had any advice, not only on where to start with loads but what I should do as a process for tuning the BOSS to complement the loads.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a BAR in 300WSM with a BOSS. Developing loads can be a nightmare with all of different powders, primers, bullets, seating depths etc. then through in the BOSS adjustment and it can drive you crazy.
I have found a simple way to deal with the BOSS and handloads. First, pick a bullet and bullet weight that you want to hunt with. Second, determine what is your desired velocity for said bullet. Third, pick a couple three powders and primers and load up some development loads. Set the BOSS and leave it there, in your case I would start with number "1". Now go to the range and find a load that gives you the desired velocity (safely) with reasonable accuracy. Now, you can load up a bunch of these loads and fine tune the BOSS.

Here is some info from Browning on BOSS tuning.
