I have a Tikka T3 chambered in .30-06 with a 22 7/16" barrel with a 1:11 twist.

I was planning to start to reload with 180gr Interbonds and then try out some 165's. What powder would you recommend I start with? I was originally going to use IMR-4350, but am wondering if it has too slow a burn rate for my 22" barrel? would I be better off with a powder with a faster burn rate (ie RL-15, Varget, IMR-4064)???

4350 is a good powder, barrel length is not going to effect much, unless you go to a slower powder

If you have the 4350, I'd try it first, it's a good powder.
If you buy any powder, I'd probably look at the RL-19 before the RL-15.

Work up of course, but right about 57 grains of IMR 4350 should get you where you want to be. I don't usually recommend a specific load, but this particular one is tried and true in many 30-06 rifles.

and since i dont recommend specific loads (normally) the 57 grain load works great with 165 partitions and 53.5 grains puts em less than a half inch at 100 with my browning a-bolt boss set to 5.0

I use H4350 for the 150-180 weights in my Model 70, and it has a 24 inch barrel. I use 60 grains under the 150gr AccuBond for like 3065 fps, I use 57.5 for the 165 grain Partition and get 2875 fps, I use 55.5 grs for the 180 grain Partition and get 2725 fps. Hope that helps.

Don't over look slower powders for the 180gr bullets. I have had great results w/ H4831sc, RL22 & IMR7828.

I use H4350 (note the "H") for my (3) 30-06 loads. My rifle has a 22" barrle too:

150-gn AccuBond at 3100 fps;
165-gn AccuBond at 2930 fps;
180-gn AccuBond at 2825 fps.

As you can see, it gives me good velocity. I love H4350.
