I'm actually loading a 7mm Mashburn but weatherby data works. But I need real world data.
Hornady list max with a 154gr & R22 at 75.8gr. @ 3300
Nosler list max with 150gr. & R22 at 72gr. @3253
Does it really take 3.5grs of powder to make a 4gr. Bullet 47fps faster.

My chrono should be here next week so I'm just going to load up a few starting at 68gr. and go up to 74gr in .5gr. steps and wait on my chrono. But I'd still like to hear what you all have found with R22 and the big 7's.

No personal knowledge but here are a couple QLs. Used a 24" barrel.

Just an observation, the difference between the two bullets is going to have more variables than just weight. Bearing surface of the bullet, BT vs flat, etc. That could partially account for the difference.
You also have two different companies manuals in the mix. Some load a little more aggressively others not.
Just my opinions though. YMMV.

Thanks a lot.
I hate to ask but could you increase the oal to 3.42" and see what we get on QL with a 150gr. Nosler Partition?
