Its Here!!! (Well more Accurately- there) According to the link below Savage is Chambering a classic in 250-3000 Savage. THE calibre. Sorry guys you know I have made myself the appointed champion of this great round. I'll never own a new one (without winning the lotto which I refuse to play), but at least it gets a little credit!! Maybe if I pass the hat with the promise to shut up when I get one....??? :wink: :wink: Yeah right! CL

Yeah, just call their custom shop. They can chamber in alot of calbiers that they do not chamber thier prodcution rifles in. Does not cost a whole lot more either :grin:

Talk about nicely balanced? Crunch the numbers on the 250-3000 Ackley Improved. I toy with the idea occasionally, but cant bring myself to do it. I had a fleeting thought about selling my Mauser to by the Savage, but the more I shoot the Mauser the more sentimental attachment I get to it. CL
