It seems that once staunch allies, such as Great Britain, are discovering that under the current administration in the US, no special relationship exists. Somehow, it is disturbing to see a news article stating "No 'Special Relationship' Between Britain and the US: MPs" http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=CNG.d7ee3248658ea97d198f69b55aace657.17b1&show_article=1. There has been a special relationship, but when the President treats the Primer Minister with disdain and disrespect, nations take umbrage. It is worrisome to read that the President left an invited head of state to his own devices while he went to dinner, as happened recently. Well, at least a great friend like Fidel Castro commends the President and Congress for its recent work, even when the UK and Israel are slapped in the face.
For those who may wonder, the foregoing is meant to be rife with sarcasm.
