Anyone in Idaho seen wolves while hunting this year yet? I've been hunting bear and deer the last three weeks and have only seen wolves tracks and scat! :x
I stopped hunting around the Stanley/ Challis area this year after 18 succesfull years due to the wolf problem. The areas used to be alive with game and last year we hunted for 9 days and there weren't even tracks there,except for wolves. I first saw wolves come into the Rough Creek drainage in 2004. A pack of 13 swarmed in. The hunting got worse every year and last year was the capper. We found only cow and calf carcassas.
I'm trying Wyoming for the first time this year. I'de love to go back to Idaho once they get a Wolf season open and get one.
