It's no longer for sale, well for the time being unless someone here wants it. Scotty the only reason I was selling it was for the simple fact that I get bored with rifles once I work up great shooting loads and kill something with the rifle, 300 RUM is not far behind as it shoots awesome and has also killed an elk. I've shot LOTS of elk over the years but NEVER with the same rifle. Caliber yes rifle no. And yes Fotis you did hook me up and I thank you for that as this 8mm is a shooting sob.

Scotty I'm not sure if it makes sense or not, If I look at the rational it doesn't make sense. I got a great Kick butt accurate rifle and I sell it, does not seem right but it's what I do.

I was thinking the same thing the 220 do need their justice don't they? I've never owned or killed an elk with a 340 so that is what I was thinking, next would be a 388 RUM I guess.

My 300 RUM runs the 200 accubonds at 3200 fps and is very accurate to boot and thinking of sell it cause it's killed an elk. I'm just a moron I guess.

You don't have to explain rationale to me. I am the opposite of right when it comes to that.

You should at least stuff something with the 220's before you can it. Heck, maybe by then, I could pick it up from you!

The 340 is awesome though. It was very high on my list of wants till I got the M70 Alaskan, now, I think I'll just settle for my little 338 Win Mag...

Just the order in which they killed the elk Scotty nothing more. A 338 wm is one of my favs of all time and that will never change.
