Since hunting season has come and passed, I decided to put my old .300 Win. Mag. Barrel on so I wouldn't feel guilty wasting barrel life on targets with my new barrel, plus I still want to practice and I'm really curious when it will give up the ghost. Anyways, when I swapped the barrels I also swapped scopes, I up graded a little. Well I bore sighted it at the house, then headed up the hill to sight it in. I'll be damned if I can ever bore sight something as well as this again. First two shots at 100 yards, quarter minute down, zero the dial and let's rock n' roll! Barrel still seems to love those 190 SMK's too!

That's laying them in there. Great shooting. Hey, as far as bore sighting goes, even a blind hog finds acorns once in a while. I remember once...

Ain't that the truth. I've never had any luck bore sighting. I've seen bore sighted rifles off so far they won't hit a 2 foot box at 25 yards.

Great shooting looks like that old barrel still has lots of life in her.
