A friend gave me four lbs. of very old IMR4350, in a container that was not air tight. It was clotted, so I poured it into a cookie pan and got out all the clots, throwing them away. I then loaded very light loads for my 30-06 US Remingtion Model 03A3 rifle. The propellant shot very inconsistantly with larger groups than I know that rifle shoots. Plus, it left particles of unburned powder in the bore. The balance of what I had went onto the flower beds!
