150 yards accross on a hardwood ridge walking away. Area is public and gets pounded during firearm season. It is a special spot to me and I always try to get back there a couple times a year. My grandfather used to lease it back in the early 50's, now it is owned by the state.this was my fathers stand he always hunted and it is one of the most beautiful spots in northern wisconsin I have ever seen. Not much for deer anymore and chances of shooting a big buck are slim in this area but I could care less.
