Found a 2 die set on GB for my 8mm Mag. I've heard of Lyman but never used their products.
Buy it now price is $45.00. 7 bucks shipping.
Thoughts?
Thanks

Lyman dies can produce good ammunition. Unlike RCBS or Redding, their warranty requires that you purchase any parts that break or fail. That seems a tad pricey for the die set, however.

I too, think that's a tad pricey but they're hard to find. Perhaps I'll keep looking . I'm in no great hurry.
However, once I get dies and a press I'll be chomping at the bit.
I would prefer RCBS, Redding, or Forster.

8mm Rem Mag dies are only available now from Lee, Hornady and RCBS. Redding, Forster, or Lyman do not currently offer dies for the 8mm Rem Mag.

I would look on Ebay myself. There is a BIN RCBS die set for $35. listed currently. New the RCBS are $56.

I have been looking in those places.

Price aside...

They are on par with RCBS.

Whether or not that is a good deal is up to you...but from a quality angle they are right there beside RCBS.

As far as warranty goes, what on earth might you break on an 8mm die set?

If you feel it is a good deal, pull the trigger.
