What is a good price for a Weatherby vangard compact chambered in 7mm-08. The stock and action are in good condition. Does include Leopould base and rings. Asking price is $400, is there room to barter on this price?

Keith, I would say you might squeeze out another 50.00. They sold at Walmart for the mid 300's for a long time.

That seems like a fair price, for all. I sold my vanguard 30/06 to a good friend with Leupold base n rings. it was in mint condition. He got a steal cuz it was going to his newphew to get into hunting. $300.00.Lee
