So, as some of you may know, I'm on the market for a Browning BLR in .358win. In order to stay on good terms with my wife, I must sell at least one other rifle. As much as I love this gun, I'm considering selling my TC encore in .243. I would try to include the .375 H&H barrel that I have as a package deal. Might be tough as it is a strange combo.

If I remember correctly ( without delving into the paperwork) I paid around $500 + for the rifle and another 2-3 hundred for the extra barrel.

What would be a good price for the combo or rifle with one barrel or another? I'm not trying to get top dollar. The stock has a few light scratches from normal use.

Thanks for any advice and hope you all had a great Christmas.

Just my opinions,,,,
I would sell the .375 seperately, I'm just thinkin that package deal isn't for 80-90% of the Encore interested out there. Or at least leave it open to the buyer. If Stnls, you can add about 10-15% value, but for blued, the used barrels are goin for a 175-200 bucks each. The frame about 300, and the furntiture is 50-75% of new. I have seen frames lately go for 275, and popular caliber barrels under 175 however. Personally, I would almost feel lucky if I was offered 700 for the pkg..where as 650 might be more the reality. But,,,,,
Selling right after Christmas in a tight economy, generally don't work so well for the seller.
Breaking it up into pieces, might move quicker and bring the best dollar. Less outlay of cash for a prospective buyers might draw more interest, is my thinking. If you wait until say like late summer, the package may go easier. Just that most everything used, is in a buyers market right now.
