Can anyone do a QL for 24" barrel and the 150 grain ABLR?

No, they would need to have the latest data iteration. (Capt. Obvious)

Just joking. Here you go.

Code:
Cartridge : .270 Win. (SAAMI)
Bullet : .277, 150, Nosler Accubond LR 58836 G7
Useable Case Capaci: 58.520 grain H2O = 3.800 cm³
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 3.340 inch = 84.84 mm
Barrel Length : 22.0 inch = 558.8 mm
Powder : Hodgdon H4831 SC

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.0% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

Thanks Doc, you are the best! Does it matter that I have a 24" barrel?

Add between 50 and 70 fps to muzzle velocity.

You might give this a shot in your load work-up too. When I was working up a load for my buddies .270 with H4831SC my gunsmith suggested I use Federal 215 mag primers in working up the load. It worked and was simple to get a very good load for his rifle. It certainly does not require magnum primers, but in colder temperatures it may make the load more consistent. He's very happy with his load. Just a thought. Sometimes primers can make a huge difference on how a load groups.

Thanks David and Dr. Mike! I have never had a magnum, but they have the same primer pocket size as standard primers? I could use a magnum primer in standard 270 Win cases?
Thanks for the info!

They are exactly the same size so no problems there, you may have a slightly lower charge of powder compared to standard primers but there also may be no difference in getting to max loads. If you work up carefully just like any other load you will be fine.
