I'm getting mixed opinions on this throughout the web.... and was wondering if quick load would be of any assistance......

40 sw - nosler 150gr JHP - HS6 (7.0 -8.5 grs)
and here's the kicker - - - CCI550

the 550 primer is indeed a hot one

general concensus is to drop 10% from a known safe load..... but I guess I'm a puss!!! LOL
My current load is 8.5grs HS6 w/wsp.
I'm hoping that quick load will provide a more scientific answer.

Yes I am out of small pistol primers and am looking for a substitute.
