Quick Load Request for 270WSM and the 150gr bullets

I found a previous QL for the 270WSM and the 140AB, but none for the 150gr bullets,
150 LRAB and 150 VLD. Powder I have to use is H4831SC, MagPro, R17,19,22,25, IMR 7828 SSC, IMR 4350.
Rifle is the M48C, 24in barrel. The rifle has shot well with MagPro, H4831SC, R19, and IMR4350 powders.

I dig your choice of cartridges! Not enough of us 270WSM guys around here. I did real well with RL25 and the 150ABLRs. Right around 3100 with drama and accuracy was pretty decent.

RL25 should work just fine for you. It is getting a little compressed, but you shouldn't have any serious problems. I've had better success with RL19 as far as accuracy is concerned, but you sacrifice a bit of velocity.
 
I didn't have any drama with RL25 and 150 ABLR's, even seating them down to 2.860 I didn't have much problem. RL22 and IMR7828SSC really worked well.
 
My gun does shoot R19 accurately, also likes MagPro with the 150VLDs and H4831SC with 150LRAB both in low 3000fps. Will have to try the other powders as well once time allows again.
 
Magpro worked decently as well. I had more 25 and 22 so I stuck with those two. If I had more Magpro, I would have really ran that.
 
I've certainly had good success with both RL19 and MagPro; both have worked well for me in the 270WSM.

Nothing wrong with that degree of accuracy. The TSX is a fine bullet, especially for heavy game. It penetrates deeply and does a great job bringing down game. I used a lot of 180 grain TSX in my 300 WSM to take moose and black bear. It always performed well for me. On the 270 WSM, my current "go to" load is built with the 130 grain E-Tip and RL17. It has served me well with moose, elk and whitetail.
 
I have not been able to find the 130 E-Tips yet, thus the TSX's, I tried R17 with the 130s, at 61gr
and only got 3100ish velocity's while the R19/IMR4350 got much better velocity and accuracy, so
stopped using R17, might try it with the 110gr bullets sometime. Where U located in N BC? I have
a one of those safari hunts up their this fall! Hoping for Stone, moose, and goat!
 
That's very nice! My 270WSM Has done really well with 150 BTs, PTs and ABLRS. It shot the 140 Supremes in Winchester real nice as well for a factory load. Seems most that run a WSM don't have much trouble finding accuracy.

I feel like I have been very lucky with this rifle. It has shot most stuff really well with little monkeying around.
 
Most of the 270 WSMs are reasonably accurate. I've worked with a couple that were less than satisfying; but even those were able to be whipped into shape with a little ingenuity.

Eric, I'm in Dawson Creek, BC. If you're hunting stone sheep, they are a bit farther north. I'm within a couple of hundred kilometers of excellent stone sheep hunting. Stone sheep continue up through the Cassiar Mountains and upper Rockies into the Yukon. There is good goat and moose hunting around here, however; and Big Horn Sheep and Thinhorn Sheep are close by.
 
Yes, I think I will be driving thru Dawson Cr on my way up to Toad River area in late Sept for the hunt. Really cool to live in an area with lots of hunting opportunities! Just like Wyoming here! no shortage of adventure!

Yes, those PTG's showed up for me this week too! Was thinking of rebarrelling my STW and I found an old box of 160 PTG's that I had loaded several years ago and they shot into a 1/2" group
just 150fps less now but accurate and I still have a box of bullets left so will put off the rifle re-build project another year!

Toad River is about ten hours north. I hunted the area last about two years ago. Stone sheep, caribou, elk, grizzly, moose, goat--good areas to hunt.
