Quickload help Please

Hello all,

I was hoping someone on here might be kind enough to run some quick load data for me. Here is my info.

.300 Winchester Magnum
3.600" OAL (Both bullets)
28" Barrel
215 and 230 grain Berger Hybrid with H1000, H4831 SC and Retumbo on each

I'd really appreciate if someone would be kind enough to provide me with this info.

My version does not include the 215 and 230 grain Bergers. I'm waiting for an update, but it isn't here at this time. Someone else, however, will likely run this for you. That bullet should be a stomper.

It will be for sure. I've been shooting the 210 Berger's at 2970 fps and it's incredibly accurate. I did some estimations and I should get the 215 just over 2900 and the 230 just over 2800 fps. The 215 seems to be the best option for my rifle, as it gives me essentially the drop of the 210 and the drift of the 230. I'm not sure I can get the velocity I need out of my 28" barrel to make the 230 the 'best choice' for my applications. If I had a 30" barrel maybe. But then again, maybe the 230 will shoot and the 215 won't, I'd rather have accuracy and precision over power, so I'll try them both. Plus it's more shooting and that's always a good thing.

Checked QL myself, and those bullets aren't in the database. Sorry.

Sorry mate, I don't have it in my QL either. Could you maybe use Sierra MK 240 data to work up with it?

Same here. Mine only goes up to the 210 grain VLD. The 215 and 230 grainers must be relatively new.

These are the Match Hybrid bullets. They haven't been out all that long, so it would not be surprising that QL wouldn't have them. Perhaps you could contact Berger directly to request some guidance on loading. I know that they've been pretty helpful in the past (as have all the bullet manufacturers).

They are pretty new, I wasn't sure if QL would have them. I did contact Berger and they gave me some data but it's limited. It will help though.
