Quickload RL26 280AI 168LRAB?

My barrel at 27" should may make good use of this load too, any quickload info would really help here too. Hadn't thought of the 168LRAB til JD338 brought it up, have always gone to the heavier 7's for this bullet.

Thanks for posting this request. I too would be curious as to what RL26 would do in the 280AI with the 168 gr ABLR from my 24" tube.

JD338

I thought I answered this but it was the 150 ABLR. Will answer it when I get home. Here is the 150

You had posted the RL26 with 150 LRAB earlier on another thread, we were hoping to see the same info on the 280 AI with 168LRAB.

Excellent! Thinking that running it again in a 24" barrel would be helpful to JD338?

Looks pretty danged good. Seems like a 24" tube would be in the high 2900's plus the compression doesn't look bad at all either.

Jim are you thinking switching up to 23 or 26?

Pretty much the same performance as RL22

Interesting… one benefit to the RL26 is you don't really need a compressed load to get max. A benefit to guys who have the Redding custom competition seating dies (like the one I just ordered). They don't work for compressed loads.

RL26 has impressed me so far......just need some higher temps now to see??!!
