Hitting the range first thing in the morning :) taking the 35 Whelen just to confirming I have not used it since Elk last year!
I have three loads for my new 280AI  1). 60.0grs1. RL-22 150gr. ABLRs, 2). 60.5 grs. RL-22 150grs. ABLRs. 3). 61.0grs RL-22 150grs. ABLRs.

Blessings,
Dan

Got to the range later:( guys couldn't get here sooner. The first load of 60.0grs of RL-22 with 150gr. ABLRs was 4" higher than the 140gr. factory Nosler bullets. Got it dailed down final two shots touching. Unfortunately the scope was set up for 270win. & the CDS is not going to work for my 280AI. :(. Range was so busy that I would have to wait 30 minutes to check targets so I quit after first load. I am going to change the CDS system back to a standard for this year.
We did get to set up my cousins 338win mag & his son's 375 H&H he placed a Steiner on his CZ Lux I am very impressed with that scope!! Anyways he took my advice & bought 300gr. ABs he is impressed!!
I am going to send DrMike a photo hopefully he can get it on the post. As you will see 60.0gr. charge was very encouraging not sure I need to try the two higher charges:)!!

Blessings,
Dan

My Last two shots are 1.5" high which is exactly what I was hoping for.
PS. Last night I lucked onto a box of Nosler custom bullets in 280AI a guy bought them from Cabelas for $64.95 and thought they were the same as 280 Remington. Cabelas advised they would not exchange them. The guy was asking $30.00 I took them right away as I can not get Nosler brass for that price 8).

Blessings,
Dan

Very nice! Seems like that rifle might be okay, I mean since you have to deal with the bolt being on the wrong side.

Blasphemy!
A left handed bolt is a thing of beauty and all too rare. [emoji4]

Scotty, finally we can get equipment of the same quality as those for righties .
A left handed bolt truly is a thing of beauty .
If you check over on optics thread Doc placed my last target using 60.5grs. of powder. If I can confirm this load it could be scary accurate :)!

Dan
